Hello! I go by Petrel (they/she) among other names. I'm a biologist and hobby artist in my late 20s. 🌱 I mostly work on projects with my original characters, in which I enjoy writing about weird scientist women and their issues. I'm not very active on public social media, but you can find links to the sites I do use in the footer of this site.

  • Interests: birds, invertebrates (especially parasites, soil decomposers, and pollinators), native plants, local ecology, taxonomy, natural history, pokemon, culinary science, photography, science-fiction, ecological horror, weird women protagonists, sustainability, invertebrate conservation.

  • Most of my work is done in Clip Studio Paint, occasionally Procreate.

  • You may know me best by the username ETOURVOL, which I still use, but am feeling out different names right now online (resulting in a constellation of different usernames across sites...)
